- Select the horse graphic and open the Animation panel. Set the Preset to Dance.
- Keep the Duration set to 1 second and set the Play to Loop.
- Set the Origin Point to the bottom center point.
- In the Event section, remove the On Page Load event and click the icon to the right. Your cursor should change to a circle.
- Click the interactive button graphic to add the horse animation to the button (see screenshot).
- Select the ball and open the Animation panel.
- Set the Preset to Spring Right and keep the other default settings.
- Select the green Motion Path and drag to expand it to the edge of the horse (see screenshot).
- With the ball still selected, go back to the Animation panel and remove the On Page Load event and click the icon next to the Event menu. Click the button to apply is animation to the interactive button (see screenshot).
- Open the Timing panel and drag the animations to reorder them so that the ball animation is first and followed by the horse animation. Drag the Yippee sound to the bottom of the list (see screenshot).
- In the Timing panel, select both the ball and horse animations in the list. Click the link icon at the bottom of the panel to link these two animations to occur as one (see screenshot).
Finally, we will animate the ball.
Test the animation and you will notice that the ball moves just a little. We will extend the Motion Path to the front edge of the horse.
Test again and the ball should move to the edge of the horse and bounce back just a little. Now, we will add the button action.
Test again and you will see that everything is animated correctly. But the timing is off. We hear the sound first, the horse moves next and the ball moves last. We need to change the order of the animations.
In order to give the illusion that the horse starts rocking when the ball bounces off, we need to link these two animations together.
Test again and the animations should be in the correct order.
Note: To animate the candle flame, you will use the Pulse animation, as we did in a previous tutorial (see screenshot).
